The challenge
The company was faced with the challenge of optimising and automating their approval process. This involved removing the process from the existing SAP system and developing a new web-based application. At the same time, the operational teams had to be restructured to meet the new requirements.
Our approach
Our team took over the project management and change management to ensure the successful rollout of the new software and to accompany the organisational changes:
- Project management: Taking full control of the project to ensure smooth implementation and integration of the new software.
- Change management: Supporting organisational change in order to promote acceptance of the new roles and structures in the operational teams.
- Rollout planning: Development and implementation of a detailed rollout plan to effectively introduce the new software.
- Communication plans: Creation of communication plans to inform all stakeholders about the progress and benefits of the new software.
- Meeting and workshop organisation: Organisation of meetings and workshops to prepare the teams for the new processes and roles.
- Project structure and planning: Establishing a clear project structure and detailed project planning to coordinate all activities and milestones.
- Risk management: Identification and management of risks in order to recognise and eliminate potential obstacles at an early stage.
Our added value
The implementation of the project led to significant improvements and clear results:
- Successful rollout: Ensuring the targeted rollout of the newly developed software, which enables increased automation and efficiency in the approval process.
- Organisational change: Successful restructuring of the operational teams, which have now taken on new roles and are structured by a level concept.
- Process optimisation: Extensive elimination of manual steps and introduction of a web-based application to improve the approval process.
